Surgical Technologist - Green

Located on the Torrey Pines Mesa near I-5 and Genesee Avenue in La Jolla, Scripps Green Hospital has served the greater San Diego community since 1977. We provide some of the region’s best care, including several nationally ranked specialty programs.

Scripps Green Hospital is attached to Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines. Together we offer dozens of medical and surgical services, including cancer care, orthopedic surgery and organ transplantation.

Join our surgery team as a surgical tech where you will work closely to ensure equipment and rooms are sterile and ready to use. You will scrub for cases and anticipate the needs of the physician and operating team. Your work will be appreciated as you contribute to the overall well-being of the team and patients.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

Required:

• One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Able to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and able work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment.
• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider required
