TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Portland, Oregon, 97213!

Job Title: ER Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years for first timers, 2 years for non-first timers License: Compact license required Certifications: ACLS BLS PALS TNCC Must-Have: First timers must have more than 3 years of experience. Non-first timers must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Must have a vehicle for this assignment. Description: This position will float between units based on department needs. Weekends are required every other weekend. Block scheduling is not required. The expected patient ratios are 4:1. Special requirements include ACLS, BLS, and PALS. EPIC experience is required. Travelers may float to other units based on skill sets. Organizations are committed to accommodating first timers with extensive experience. The facility is a short-term acute care hospital with a diverse patient population. The emergency department sees various cases, including walk-in trauma patients. We are both Stroke and STEMI certified and have inpatient behavioral health care services. Staffing adjustments are made based on workload intensity. We encourage travelers who wish to transition into permanent positions. Flexibility with patient assignments is essential due to varying workload demands. Doctors, therapists, and support staff work collaboratively within the unit. If required, communication devices will be supplied to providers at no cost. Travelers may need to float to nearby facilities as necessary. Refusal to float may lead to contract alterations. Overall, the role requires adaptability, clinical expertise, and a team-oriented mindset.
