CLS Worker (Includes Overnights) - West Branch

Job Title: CLS Worker Reports To: Home Manager FLSA Classification: Non Exempt Hourly Rate: $17.13 Jobs/Shifts: Full Time - this schedule will include working 3 consecutive days including overnights and weekends Qualifications Must be 18 years old. Possession of a safe driving record and current licensure is preferred. A limited number of non-driving budget positions may exist. Ability to meet physical demands of the job including stooping, bending, turning, stretching, lifting, assisting residents, making beds, and moving equipment. Must be negative for TB or have physician clearance. Must meet criminal background check criteria. Essential Functions Travel: Daily travel to and from appointments, activities, and errands may be required in a company or personal vehicle (contingent on having driving clearance). Duties Participate with all staff of Bay Human Services and local CMH in providing quality care and treatment to all people of the CLS program. Actively participate in scheduled staff meetings and trainings. Document on proper forms all activity pertaining to the care and treatment of the people in the following areas: Each contact with the person and/or family member. Each contact with local CMH personnel regarding the care and treatment of the person we serve. Timecard/sheets and other forms required for the administration of the program. Other documentation as required by local CMH, state, and federal regulations. Participate in the development of the treatment/behavior plan and carry out as directed. Provide transportation for activities/treatment/care as appropriate. Report all unusual incidents/emergency/crisis situations to the Family Supports Program Supervisor. Provide personal care if stated in the treatment/behavior plan Essential Job Functions - Physical Requirements: Ability to meet physical demands of the job including stooping, bending, turning, stretching, lifting, assisting residents, making beds, and moving equipment. Must accept risk of working in a group setting where employees are exposed to communicable diseases and occasional combativeness. Ability to work in an environment that generates ongoing noise from individual(s), audio devices, equipment, etc. Onsite work required. Required to work variable hours/ shifts, must be willing and available to work every other weekend or as scheduled.
