Mold Mechanic Helper

1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Starting Pay: $19.00/hour

We are looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined  Mold Mechanic Helper to work alongside our experienced mold technician. This is a hands-on, entry-level position with training provided for the right person. This opening is for a Concrete manufacturing company specializing in concrete block production.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspecting molds and identifying worn or damaged parts.
• Help clean, disassemble, repair, and rebuild molds.
• Replace worn parts and components.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and a chipping hammer.
• Operate a forklift as needed.
• Keep tools and work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all safety procedures and assist with other shop duties as needed.

Requirements

• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but training can be provided.
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.

Previous mold or mechanical experience is helpful but not required. We are willing to train the right person.
