About the role The role you will play is to serve as an extension of our Internists and work as a team for the benefit of patient and client care. The technician will have an active role in client communication, including communication of diagnostic results and procedures as dictated by the Internist, diagnostic and procedural organization, and facilitation, and will assist in the short‑ and long‑term management of their patients. The candidate ideally has a basic understanding of the various diseases seen in Internal Medicine and must possess a strong passion and motivation for further learning. What you will bring Experience working as a Registered Veterinary Technician Experience with anesthesia Experience with endoscopy is preferred but not required Knowledge of disease process and common ailments seen Strong attention to detail Ability to collaborate with various departments Providing empathy, comfort, and unparalleled nursing care to all patients and their owners Positive outlook and ability to work in a highly collaborative environment Commitment to develop long‑term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community Excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to deliver exceptional client service are expected Honesty, integrity, and a desire to learn and have fun Salary and Benefits Salary: $33.00 – $36.00 / hour, dependent on experience. Sign‑on bonus: $3,000 for licensed technicians. Schedule: Wednesday through Saturday, 8:00 am – 6:30 pm.
