Our mission is guided by our Strategic Principles and has three critical components; patient care, education and research that together enhance our contribution to society.Responsibilities*This job will involve teaming with lab members and the PI to generate data, ensure general lab safety, laboratory organization, inventory and equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance. The technician must have strong experience in scientific record keeping and in generating high-quality laboratory results in areas relevant to the laboratory's research.Required Qualifications*Bachelors Degree in the biologic sciences or related field.Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.At least a subset of the desired qualifications.Desired Qualifications*Technically meticulous and highly organized team player.Experience in Mac OS and software relevant to lab work such as Microsoft Office, technical drawing software such as Adobe Creative Suite, and manuscript preparation and DNA analysis software Endnote and DNAStar.Experience with basic molecular techniques and quantitative assays.
