Position Overview: Join our team as a seasonal tax preparer from January to May. As an experienced professional, you’ll handle client tax returns and play a vital role in supporting our existing staff. Don’t miss this opportunity! For the right person and proven performance, option to turn position into a permanent part-time staff.
Responsibilities: Unlock exciting opportunities as a seasonal tax preparer at our CPA firm! Your multifaceted role includes preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns (with a focus on Form 1040), scanning, collaborating with clients to optimize their positions, providing clear guidance, and managing project communications.
Qualifications:
- Experience (MUST HAVE):
- Minimum of 1 years in tax preparation.
- Technical Skills (MUST HAVE):
- Experience with UltraTax CS
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel).
- Interpersonal Skills (MUST HAVE):
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Outgoing personality with a positive attitude.
- Education and Certifications:
- CPA (preferred).
- Enrolled Agent (preferred).
Work Arrangement:
- Job Type: Part-time, seasonal (January to May).
- Hours: 24–32 hours per week.
- Location: In-person at our Lakewood Ranch office.
Compensation:
- Hourly pay: $20.00–$30.00 plus performance-based bonus.
