Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intensive Care Unit setting with an average daily census of 8 patients across a 10-bed unit
• Maintain a standard nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2, with occasional adjustment up to 1:3 for low-acuity patients
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in critically ill patients' conditions throughout the night shift
• Participate in holiday coverage as scheduled and every other weekend as required
• Float within specialty, to lower-acuity areas, and to sister facilities as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU/critical care nursing experience required
• Active Maryland RN license or active Compact RN license at time of submission
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association only
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association only
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility address (locals under 50 miles are not accepted unless explicitly stated)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers with strong, demonstrated critical care experience and skills will be considered
• Comfort with floating within scope of practice and specialty without restrictions
• CPI certification (Calm Every Storm online version is the accepted online vendor)
