LPN

Role: This position is designed for new graduate nurses with less than one year of experience to participate in a Nurse Residency Program. Responsibilities: Attend all core curriculum and clinical classes, actively participate in professional development, and complete clinical competencies under supervision. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, gather patient data, provide care according to standards, and document interventions. Escalate issues as needed, advocate for patients, and contribute to quality improvement efforts. Adhere to organizational policies on licensure, infection control, confidentiality, and safety. Perform assigned duties and support unit needs, including staffing adjustments under supervision. Qualifications: Completion of an approved LPN program or recognized equivalency, with less than 12 months of LPN experience. Must hold a current LPN license recognized by the NCSBN Compact or the state. If pursuing RN licensure, notify management promptly. Skills & Abilities: Basic nursing knowledge, compliance with policies, effective communication, and teamwork.
