MARKETING INTERN

Description: Marketing Interns at Alta Music Group will assist the marketing & creative teams across all facets of building out & executing marketing plans for their roster across record label & management. Each intern will get to directly interface with all members of Alta's team and will get dedicated time with Alta's head of marketing to ask any questions about the company, artist rollouts, or the industry on the whole. Roles & Responsibilities: Trend Identification Monitor and analyze upcoming trends across social platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube Shorts, etc.). Regularly share insights and recommendations with marketing and artist teams to inform creative strategy. Stay ahead of shifts in platform algorithms, formats, and engagement best practices. Influencer Network Development Expand Alta Music's network of influencer marketing contacts across genres and platforms. Identify key voices and emerging influencers relevant to specific artists or campaign goals. Content Reference & Creative Support Build and maintain a library of short-form content references and trend examples. Support ideation for artist social strategies and release campaigns. Ideation & Campaign Strategy Participate in creative brainstorming sessions for upcoming artist releases. Contribute to campaign concepting, social rollouts, and influencer activation ideas. Account Management & Asset Creation Help maintain & operate a number of owned social channels for Alta Music Group. Editing of artist social content to be used across artists own socials or fan pages. Qualifications Understanding of social media culture and creator economy. Video editing proficiency, as needed for social media asset creation (utilizing CapCut). Strong communication and relationship management skills. Passion for music, artist development, and digital creativity. What Interns Will Gain: Hands on experience with artists rollouts & marketing campaigns. Several dedicated lunch-and-learn sessions with the Head of Marketing to answer any intern questions. Opportunity to participate in brainstorming/ideation sessions around artist releases. Office Policy: This is an in-person internship opportunity. Interns are expected to work out of Alta's Culver City office.
