Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in the beautiful Palm Desert area, known for its warm climate and scenic views. You will engage in a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for work-life balance while providing exceptional care to our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient conditions, establishing a baseline of functional abilities and challenges.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on recovery goals and promote functional independence.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including manual therapy, exercise prescriptions, and patient education techniques.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes meticulously to ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to enhance communication and optimize care strategies for patients.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding exercise protocols and injury prevention to promote self-management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to remain current with the latest evidence-based practices in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility primarily focuses on treating adults who are facing challenges related to orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, neurological impairments, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A valid California State Physical Therapy License is required to practice.
• A Doctorate or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is essential.
