MRI Technologist

RAYUS Radiology is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team. This full‑time position is Monday‑Friday from 8:00am‑4:30pm, plus every 5th Saturday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Screen patients before exam for any precautions or contradictions, using two patient identifiers to ensure the correct patient and procedure. Explain and prepare patients for MRI procedures, positioning patients so that the parts of the body can be appropriately scanned. Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body with minimal supervision, providing patient support throughout the procedure. Adjust MRI scan parameters correctly and as needed. Follow physicians' orders precisely, conform to safety regulations, and accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS). Maintain an orderly and clean work area, including sanitizing equipment and promoting good safety habits for patients and team members. Maintain equipment in good working order; clean and disinfect equipment after each use. Maintain the ACR toolkit and accreditation requirements. (5%) MRI Department Support Assist with maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and software upgrades. Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as necessary. Assist in the training of new team members, providing resource and technical expertise as applicable. (5%) Completes other tasks as assigned None specified. Remote Position No Status Full‑time Requirements Required: High School diploma or equivalent. Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography. ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing, depending on State regulations and business need. Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state, if applicable. Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification. Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently. Certification in imaging specialty.
