Schedule: M-F, 8am - 5pm, Onsite (Hybrid work schedule available at the discretion of the manager) Pay Rate: $68k - $75k annually, DOE Location: Garner, NC Position Type: Full Time Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Daily reconciliation of Bank Accounts. Record general ledger transactions related to revenue and expenses by compiling and analyzing account information. Assist in month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, review of accounts, preparation of accruals, and ensure cutoffs for month-end are observed and reported in the correct periods. Maintainand balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions. Perform and analyze balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting. Assist in preparing audit responses. Review and analyze payroll reports and payroll-related JEs. Complete all state-mandated sales tax and compliance reporting. Responsible for reviewing and reporting AMEX credit card expenses and Concur travel expenses. Month-end close responsibilities including timely completion of all checklist items. Work collaboratively as part of a team to address Ad Hoc projects and challenges associated with a nimble and fast-growing organization. Develop and implement accounting procedures to improve accuracy and efficiency. Assist with SOX reporting by providing required documentation to fulfil audit requirements Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting. 3-5years of Accounting experience. Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot tables. Strong data analytical skills. Excellent attention to detail. Self-starter with good collaboration skills. Physical Effort/Activities: On a continuous basis will work in an office environment, sit at desk for a long period of time, intermittently answer telephone and use a computer to communicate. On an occasional basis in the performance of duties, may be required to walk, stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
