Accounting Consultant

Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Consultant with a background in product control and lending accounting to support IFRS analysis, automation initiatives, and project governance. This is a great opportunity for someone with investment banking accounting experience and strong communication skills. MDSchedul e: Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week Pay Rat e: $37/ho Experience Le vel: 2–5 years Key Responsibilities Gather and document business and accounting requirements from key stakeholders Analyze lending accounting treatment under IFRS vs. US GAAP Identify differences in reporting, valuation, and disclosure Support development of business rules and functional specs for automation Partner with Technology teams on system design, implementation, and validation Assist with UAT testing, issue resolution, and business sign-off Project Management & Governance Prepare materials for senior management updates (progress, risks, milestones) Document accounting positions and rationale for GAAP vs. IFRS differences Support process improvements and standardization efforts Contribute to building scalable accounting frameworks Help reduce manual processes through automation initiatives Qualifications 2–5 years of relevant experience Background in Loans / Product Control required Investment Banking accounting experience preferred Strong project management and communication skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Must be authorized to work in the United States Russell Tobin offers eligible employees comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement savings plan, life and disability insurance options, pet insurance, employee discounts, and access to an employee assistance program, identity theft protection, and legal support. #J-18808-Ljbffr Russell Tobin
