Masker 1 (2nd Shift) Job Overview Reports to: Department Supervisor Location: Lynwood, CA Type: Full-Time Schedule: 2nd Shift Job Summary Responsible for shielding the surfaces of parts that do not require processing Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks Ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.) Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings and specifications Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations Perform other duties as required Skills & Abilities Education: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) Required Other Physical Requirements Vision (Near, Distance) Sense of Sound - Able to hear average conversations Sense of Touch Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Safety Glasses Standing for long periods of time Benefits Compensation Range $16.50 - $19.60 (DOE) + Shift differential Medical, Dental, Vision, Employer Paid Basic Life, Supplemental Life Insurance, 401k with a Employer Match Generous Paid Time Off program 8 Holidays and 1 Floater Holiday Work Environment The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Valence Surface Technologies is an equal opportunity employer.
