Position Overview

We are seeking an innovative and skilled Radio Frequency (RF) Engineer to join an engineering team focused on developing advanced tunable radio frequency filters and RF front-end (RFFE) systems for interference mitigation.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electromagnetic theory, RF circuit design, wireless communications, and hands-on experience designing, testing, and optimizing RF hardware.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and simulate RF circuits and components, including amplifiers, filters, mixers, and other RF/microwave devices.

• Develop and optimize tunable RF filters and RF front-end systems for interference mitigation.

• Perform hands-on laboratory testing and validation using spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, and other RF test equipment.

• Analyze RF performance parameters including gain, noise figure, VSWR, linearity, phase noise, and other key performance metrics.

• Troubleshoot RF hardware and identify opportunities for performance and reliability improvements.

• Support RF hardware development from initial architecture and simulation through prototyping, testing, and production.

• Collaborate with systems engineers, firmware developers, project managers, and customers throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Develop automated testing and data-analysis processes using Python, MATLAB, or similar scripting tools.

• Document design specifications, test results, technical findings, and engineering recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in RF engineering, hardware design, wireless communications, or a related field.

• Strong understanding of RF and microwave circuit design principles.

• Solid knowledge of transmission line theory and electromagnetic fields.

• Experience with RF simulation and design tools such as ANSYS HFSS, Keysight ADS, Microwave Office, and Altium .

• Hands-on experience using RF laboratory equipment, including spectrum analyzers, vector/network analyzers, signal generators, probe stations, and oscilloscopes.

• Experience with Python, MATLAB, or similar programming/scripting languages for test automation and data analysis.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with tunable RF filters or RF front-end systems.

• Experience with interference mitigation technologies.

• Familiarity with RF prototyping and hardware bring-up.

• Experience transitioning RF designs from development and testing into production.

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
