Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and timely intervention for all age groups
- Administer medications, start IVs, monitor lines and vitals, manage airways as needed, and assist with procedural care (including sedation where permitted)
- Interpret 12-lead EKGs, recognize dysrhythmias, and initiate appropriate interventions; support ventilated patients and those with chest tubes/central lines
- Respond to critical events, perform patient and family education, and collaborate with Respiratory, Radiology, Pharmacy, Social Services, Interpretation Services, and Unit Secretary to coordinate care
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and ensure handoffs to receiving teams are clear and concise
- Adhere to safety, infection control, and quality standards; manage patients across all ages from neonates to geriatrics

Requirements
- Active RN license in Missouri (or eligibility for licensure; pending license accepted per posting)
- Minimum 2 years RN experience with ER experience implied or preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BCLS (BLS), NIHSS, PALS required
- Education: not specified in posting
- Ability to work in a high-volume ER within an acute-care setting; clean pre-employment labs within 48–72 hours of signing
- Epic EHR charting experience (required)
- Non-local candidates only; relocation required (local radius rule applies)
- On-site rotation details: Night shifts; every 3rd weekend may vary (Fri/Sat or Sat/Sun depending on rotation); no on-call

Pre-start requirements
- Labs completed within 48–72 hours of signing
- WorkRamp mandatory modules started within 1 week of contract; completion required by two Fridays prior to start to avoid delays
