Culinary Extern Opportunity
The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis seeks culinary externs to join our talented team! As a culinary extern, you will support daily kitchen operations while gaining hands-on experience in a luxury hospitality environment. Under the guidance of our culinary leadership, you will learn professional kitchen standards, food preparation techniques, and the importance of teamwork - building a strong foundation for a successful culinary career.
Externship Period: Approx. 6 months
What you will do:
- Assist chefs with basic food preparation and daily kitchen tasks.
- Support mise en place and ensure ingredients are prepared according to standards.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in all work areas.
- Follow standard recipes and assist with plating and presentation.
- Adhere to HACCP, hygiene, and safety procedures at all times.
- Support different kitchen sections and assist during events and service periods.
What you bring:
- Strong interest in culinary arts and hospitality
- Culinary school enrollment or recent graduation is an advantage
- Willingness to learn, positive attitude, and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Basic English communication skills
