We are recruiting Personal Lines Risk Advisors who want to:

Our Risk Advisors are responsible for creating new relationships and retaining existing ones. This requires the ability to ask the right questions, understand business needs, and deliver comprehensive solutions. Technical knowledge and sales skills enable the Risk Advisor to bring on new clients and provide value to existing clients.

Training, resources, and support will be provided to learn the company approach and excel as a Risk Advisor.

Duties

Sales & Consulting

• Create your Personal Excellence Plan with the Sales Manager and President
• Identify, develop, and nurture relationships with prospects and centers of influence
• Maintain consistent contact with prospects and clients
• Deliver sales presentations for new and renewal business
• Provide risk management and loss prevention advice
• Cross-sell agency services
• Request referrals to generate new business
• Participate in team sales efforts
• Gather information for proposals and rating
• Quote all lines of business and communicate with underwriters
• Prepare proposals and applications
• Bind coverage and close new sales
• Meet sales goals
• Suggest prospecting and marketing ideas

Service & Retention

• Manage renewals to ensure timely and accurate servicing
• Assist in marketing accounts
• Review proposals prior to client meetings
• Design insurance plans with team input
• Document client and carrier interactions
• Maintain accurate client data and follow SOPs
• Resolve claims, billing, and service issues
• Ensure coverage adequacy and client service support
• Develop a profitable book of business

Qualifications

• Current California Property & Casualty License required
• 3+ years experience as Personal Lines Risk Advisor (preferred)
• Proven sales performance
• Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
