Tech - IR/Special Procedures

Job Summary:

Provides specialized interventional radiology support in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment. Performs a variety of neuro-interventional procedures within a well-established trauma and stroke center.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Operate and maintain GE imaging equipment and other advanced IR technology.
  
  
• 
  Assist radiologists during neuro-interventional and vascular procedures, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency.
  
  
• 
  Prepare and ensure proper functioning of tools and supplies for complex interventions.
  
  
• 
  Document procedures accurately utilizing MacLab and Meditech systems.
  
  
• 
  Respond quickly to call shifts, arriving within 30 minutes as required.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes and streamline workflows.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Registered Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) with 2+ years of interventional experience.
  
  
• 
  Certified in ACLS and BLS.
  
  
• 
  Hold RCIS or relevant procedural/cardiology certification.
  
  
• 
  Possess extensive neuro-interventional and vascular IR procedure experience.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate high-level communication skills and adaptability to fast-paced environments.
  
  
• 
  Knowledge of Cath Lab and IR protocols, with vascular access expertise.
