Job Summary:
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position in a healthcare facility located in a hospital setting. This role involves assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for patients with a focus on continuous monitoring and specialized nursing interventions. The RN will deliver high-quality care aligned with organizational policies and professional standards, ensuring patient safety and positive outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license in the state of practice or valid compact RN license, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, 0 years of experience in an acute care setting, in addition to relevant training and education in nursing.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; professional certification in specialty nursing preferred.
• Additional Information: The RN will perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, coordinate and delegate patient care activities, and document interventions accurately. The role includes collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, providing patient education, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives. The position may involve supervising staff and working with external healthcare providers and community resources to support patient health and recovery.
