What You'll Do

• Deliver and coordinate high-quality, compassionate patient care
• Use the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Delegate, supervise, and document nursing care and patient education
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Identify variances in patient goals and collaborate on effective solutions
• Support patients and families through education, comfort, and advocacy

Schedule & Setting

• Medical-Surgical Unit
• 3 12-hour shifts (7:00 p.m. 7:00 a.m.)
• Every other weekend and rotating holidays
• Henry Ford Macomb Warren, MI
• Full-time position with comprehensive benefits

Education / Experience Required

• BSN preferred
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
• Clinical knowledge and analytical ability to develop effective nursing care plans
• Ability to perform a wide range of professional nursing services
• Strong communication skills with patients, families, and hospital staff

Certifications / Licensure Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification (health care provider level)
