Administer medications, monitor patient status, respond to changes, and document clinical observations accurately. Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff; coordinate care with other disciplines. Utilize critical thinking, professional judgment, and supervisory discretion to support patient needs and safety. Collaborate with physicians and members of the care team to implement care plans and adjust as needed. Provide patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition of care instructions.
