Data Center Technician, ADC InfraOps DCO

AWS Data Center Technician (Full-Time) AWS is looking for fully cleared Data Center Technicians to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Technicians are the primary resolvers who troubleshoot and solve a range of datacenter infrastructure issues, including hardware, fiber, networking, and related problems. To qualify, applicants must be U.S. citizens with an active TS/SCI security clearance and polygraph. This role requires engaging in physical data center activities such as planning and tracking capacity, rack deployment, rack cabling, hardware and software troubleshooting, and rack decommissioning. Tasks include lifting and moving material up to 49pounds, working in cramped or elevated locations, bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, standing and walking for up to 8+ hours a day, ascending and descending ladders, stairs, and gangways safely, working in a noisy environment, and working shifts longer than 8 hours to support 24/7 operations (covering both day and night shifts). Key Job Responsibilities Take ownership of technical issues brought by the customer base, engaging other teams when needed to drive resolution. Show a strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving and solve problems at their root while understanding the broader context. Maintain service level agreements through proactive issue detection and reporting. Act in the absence of direction or support and improve effectiveness through process innovation. Work shift work that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays. A Day in the Life Plan and track capacity, rack deployment, and rack cabling. Troubleshoot hardware, fiber, and networking issues. Maintain rack decommission procedures. Document and report progress to maintain service level agreements. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve customer issues. Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification. Current, active U.S. Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with FS Polygraph. Preferred Qualifications A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+ certification.
