Position Summary


In support of the research initiatives on the UNMC campus, this position will perform histological procedures for the Tissue Sciences Facility . Duties include tissue preparation, sectioning/staining, analysis and troubleshooting, as well as performing standard research techniques and operations.

Preferred Experience:


Two or more years' experience including IHC, IF, ISH and FISH protocols.

Two or more years' of advancing experience in a research or clinical laboratory setting working in Pathology, Biology or Biochemistry.

Histology Technologist (HT), American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) and/or lmmunohistochemistry certifications (NSH/ ASCP).
