Project Manager

Check out our website at Position Summary We are a subcontractor/manufacturer looking for someone to manage all aspects of our construction projects by coordinating lead times for products, obtaining accurate information from the client, procuring material, ensuring products meet customer expectations, creating shop drawings, and completing all duties in a timely fashion. Contact customers to confirm product requirements. Follow-up with client for additional information. Figure fabric quantities for purchase orders. Enter information into database. Create word shop drawings in database. Review shop drawings with client. Create and check delivery tickets. Field measure "installed" jobs. Check CAD & word shop drawings. Reserve shop time. Work on standard drawings and review drawings in AutoCAD. Perform material take-offs from bid documents. Support other Project Management team members as needed. What you will bring to the table: 2 years of college OR equivalent experience required. Team-oriented. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment. Excellent attention to detail. Outstanding mathematical skills. Understanding of blueprints and scaled dimensions. Knowledge of personal computers and MS Office applications (Word and Excel). Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting programs. (Not required, but helpful to have.) Familiarity with general construction processes, carpentry tools, and conventions (such as measuring, plumb, level, and finish carpentry). Ability to acquire needed informed from customers. Ideal Skills and Qualifications: Effective analytic skills to reason and solve problems. Ability to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language. Highly self-motivated and directed. Problem-solving, critical thinking, time management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks while managing multiple demands.
