Overview
Radiation Therapist (Radiation Therapy Tech) needed for a travel assignment in Utica, NY. Start date: 11/16/2026 for a 13-week assignment in a hospital-based Radiation Oncology setting. Weekly pay: $412–$430 per week. No guaranteed hours; expected 37.5 hours per week. Shift: 8-hour days, typically Monday through Friday. Responsibilities
- Administer external beam radiation therapy per physician prescription using Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam.
- Perform patient setup, imaging, and treatment delivery with proper immobilization and verification.
- Use Siemens CT large bore scanner for simulation and image guidance as needed.
- Manage electronic medical records in ARIA and collaborate with EPIC users as applicable.
- Monitor patient status during treatment, address concerns, and ensure safety and accuracy of dose delivery.
- Collaborate with radiation oncologists, dosimetrists, and other therapy staff to ensure coordinated patient care.

Requirements
- New York state license to practice Radiation Therapy.
- Experience operating Varian 2300ix and Varian EDGE Truebeam.
- Knowledge of Siemens CT large bore for simulation.
- Proficiency with ARIA EMR and familiarity with EPIC.
- Ability to work 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours per week; adaptable to patient scheduling needs.
