What will you enjoy doing?

Main responsibilities:

• Truck drivers check-in.
• Part of customer service to ensure shipping on time
• Preparing finished product to ship to customer
• Adheres to performance standards in quality and quantity (checking for damages as well as count)
• Following warehouse receiving and shipping procedures
• Accurately records and stores raw materials and finished goods in the warehouse
• Accurately handles and records all corrugated and plastic packaging products from receipt to storage and then to production
• Ensures good housekeeping within the warehouse
• Adherence to all safety practices like but not limited to:
• Forklift and dock doors safety check lists.
• Ensure usage of proper PPE
• Communicate any unsafe conditions or behavior.
• Adherence to golden safety rules.

Performance metrics:

• Number of accidents, near misses, observations of unsafe conditions/behaviors.
• Inventory accuracy.
• Cycle counting targets.
• Warehouse inspection score (safety and housekeeping).
• On time deliveries.
• Reports
• Correct shipment (correct quantity/right time)

What makes you great:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing or distribution preferred
• Experience with forklift/clamp truck machinery preferred
• Safety awareness and quality consciousness
