SUMMARY

Spectrum Reach has an exciting opportunity with our Local Sales Team as an Advertising Account Executive. In this role you will be responsible for driving revenue growth through new business development, account management, and consultative selling. This role serves as a strategic partner to local and regional businesses and by identifying client goals, recommending tailored advertising solutions, and delivering measurable business outcomes.

Success in this role requires strong prospecting discipline, relationship building,
communication skills, adaptability, and the ability to manage both client growth and
campaign stewardship in a fast-changing advertising environment.

PAY STRUCTURE

Our compensation model empowers high performers to control their earnings. Our base salary is coupled with a competitive commission structure from day one.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Meet and exceed assigned revenue responsibilities
• Prospect for and developing new business opportunities
• Build, manage, and grow an assigned book of business through renewals, upselling, and relationship management
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and discovery conversations to understand business goals
• Based on the needs of clients, create strategic proposals using video, streaming, digital, and advanced advertising solutions
• Build strong client relationships through ongoing communication and consistent follow-through
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure campaign execution and client success
• Monitor campaign performance, share insights and metrics, and recommend optimizations
• Maintain pipeline activity and opportunity tracking in CRM tools
• Balance prospecting, account management, internal collaboration, and campaign stewardship
• Stay current on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and evolving product offerings

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

• Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations with a demonstrated hunter mindset in prospecting and building healthy pipelines,
• 1+ years outside or B2B sales experience
• Ability to use data in the development and sale of a media strategy
• Adept at presenting complex solutions in a simple, easy to understand manner
• Understanding of the media landscape and evolving dynamics of advertising within it
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to speak with C-level clients; confident in negotiating
• Local and regional travel; valid driver's license and safe driving record

Preferred

• Accustomed to building processes to hold yourself accountable to goals; own your day
• Familiarity of the Adtech ecosystem including ad network, ad exchange, SEM platform, DSP, SSP, and other online advertising technology
• Sales experience in Digital advertising (preferably CTV), insertion order media and/or managed services to marketing decision-makers with brands and/or independent ad agencies
• Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM tools
• Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining high levels of client relationships and business excellence
• Knowledge of media research & planning tools (ie Strata, ComScore, Nielsen, GA4, etc.)
• Passionate about the convergence of entertainment, technology, and data that is fueling new opportunities for Spectrum Reach and our customers.

The base pay for this position generally is between $27,500.00 and $27,500.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

In addition, this position has a commission earnings target starting at $41,250
