As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Screening in Three Rivers, TX , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, credential checks, and security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, maintain visitor and vehicle logs, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or access discrepancies to site management.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities according to post orders and location protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, gates, and perimeter locations to help identify security-related concerns, access issues, and/or operational hazards.
• Communicate with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts regarding daily activity, incident details, and shifting access needs while supporting a professional and courteous environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
