Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners continue to play a vital role in expanding access to psychiatric care. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications. Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient response. Monitor for medication efficacy, side effects, and safety concerns. Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation. Collaborate with therapists and the broader care team to coordinate patient care. Qualifications Active Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification and state licensure in good standing. Active DEA registration, or eligibility to obtain one.
