What You'll Do Purchase supplies and maintain inventory levels for multiple company locations Develop cost-effective and profitable purchasing strategies Assess supplier qualifications, profiles, and pricing proposals Analyze vendor offers and make recommendations based on quality, cost, and availability Prepare and implement effective negotiation strategies with suppliers Manage relationships with key vendors to ensure quality products and timely deliveries Monitor supplier compliance with contract terms and service expectations Review and evaluate supplies to ensure quality standards are met Monitor and maintain inventory and stock levels Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records Generate reports and assist with inventory analysis as needed Support additional purchasing and inventory-related duties as assigned What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor's degree required with a minimum of two years of purchasing and inventory management experience Additional purchasing and inventory experience may be considered in place of the education requirement Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Proficiency with business software and computer applications Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy Dependable attendance and professional work ethic Bonus Points If You Have Previous purchasing agent experience Supply chain or procurement experience Inventory control and warehouse management experience Vendor contract negotiation experience Experience working in a healthcare or multi-location organization Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Physical Requirements Must be able to frequently lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds or more Must be able to frequently stand, walk, sit, stoop, and reach Must be able to regularly communicate effectively through talking and hearing Must be able to frequently utilize typing and computer skills Ability to sit for prolonged periods while working on a computer Must possess distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Why Manpower?
