Patient Care & Scheduling Coordinator

Job Description

Answer incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
Schedule new and existing patient appointments efficiently.
Contact patients due for annual eye exams and proactively fill the schedule through recall efforts.
Verify patients' vision and/or medical insurance benefits prior to appointments.
Explain insurance coverage and benefits to patients.
Confirm upcoming appointments and manage schedule changes.
Communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and fellow team members.
Assist with other front office duties as needed.
Compensation based on prior experience.
