Fairchild Freight specializes in the transportation of consumer food products, including fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, and beverages across North America. With expertise in navigating challenging environments, Fairchild Freight delivers perishables to remote locations such as Western Canada, Alaska, and the continental United States. The company offers multi‑mode freight services, focusing on transportation between the Southwestern United States and Alaska, and seamlessly handles shipments to and from Western Canada, including Alberta, the Yukon, and British Columbia. Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in the Greater Phoenix Area for a Carrier Sales Representative. The Carrier Sales Representative will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with carriers, negotiating rates, coordinating freight movements, and ensuring timely pick‑up and delivery of shipments. The role also involves identifying new carrier opportunities, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations, and maintaining high customer service standards. Qualifications Strong negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with carriers Ability to analyze freight data and identify cost‑efficient solutions Experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management Proficiency in using transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software Exceptional organizational and time management abilities Problem‑solving skills and adaptability to swiftly resolve issues that may arise Knowledge of freight markets and carrier networks is a plus Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
