Responsibilities Title: Occupational Therapy Assistant Location / Work environment: In facility Reporting structure: Reporting to Director of Rehab As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you help patients get well. You implement occupational therapy programs and activities, follow developed recovery plans, and deliver therapy treatments. You engage the whole patient, seeing them as an individual, and execute programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their physical abilities and independence. You adapt to each patient’s needs, collaborate with peers, and make referrals as needed to provide the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program according to AOTA & ACOTE standards. Initial certification obtained from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Licensed and/or eligible for licensure as required in the state of practice.
