Tax Reviewer

Trillium is seeking a Tax Reviewer in Delaware for a direct-hire opportunity! This Direct-Hire opportunity is seeking an experienced Tax Reviewer to review complex individual, corporate, partnership, fiduciary, estate, and trust tax returns while ensuring compliance with federal and state tax regulations. The Tax Reviewer will serve as a technical resource for tax staff, perform tax research, identify tax planning opportunities, and work directly with clients and advisors to deliver high-quality service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Reviewer to join an established Public Accounting and Business Advisory firm where they can leverage their technical expertise, review complex tax engagements, and serve as a trusted advisor to a diverse client base throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. The ideal candidate will possess current experience reviewing complex tax returns within a public accounting environment, including individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, trust, and estate returns. This role is designed for a tax professional with strong technical expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to serve as a trusted advisor while mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to the firm’s continued growth and success. Responsibilities Review individual, partnership, S-Corporation, C-Corporation, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns Perform tax research and provide planning recommendations Ensure compliance with federal and state tax regulations Review and mentor the work of Tax Accountants and Senior Tax Accountants Collaborate with clients, attorneys, and financial advisors Assist with client relationship management and business development activities Schedule isDay Shift / Monday - Friday / 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. This is a hybrid position, 3 days per week on-site. Pay is$130,000 - $150,000 annually DOE. Strong tax review and analytical abilities Advanced knowledge of individual, corporate, partnership, trust, and estate taxation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong client service and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Proficiency with tax preparation and review software Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field CPA Certification REQUIRED and/or Enrolled Agent (EA) License 3-5+ years of Public Accounting tax experience Must currently be reviewing complex individual, partnership, corporate, fiduciary, trust, and estate tax returns in a public accounting environment Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations Strong client-facing experience Ability to work independently and within a team environment Trillium has been recruiting and placing professionals for over 30 years.
