Schedule
Shift: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with weekend rotation (1 per month)

Assignment Details

Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Therapy (Required)
- NBCOT Certification in Occupational Therapy (Required)
- Occupational Therapist License (Required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 1 month of hire (Highly Preferred)
- More than 1 year of experience preferred, but willing to consider new graduates (Highly Preferred)
- Outpatient experience preferred (Highly Preferred)
- AOTA membership preferred (Preferred)

Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient function through formal and informal testing measures to determine physical and cognitive status.
- Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessments and coordinate with the physician to ensure comprehensive care.
- Update and adjust the plan of care based on changes in patient status and document all relevant patient responses to treatment.
- Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants and students according to regulatory standards.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment options, prognosis, and the rationale for selected interventions.
- Promote occupational therapy within the broader community, participating in educational outreach as needed.

Compliance / Notes
- Must complete annual OSHA training per Exposure Control Plan.
- Must demonstrate competency in Microsoft Windows; further learning opportunities may be required.
- Maintains confidentiality of patient and organizational information in accordance with established policies.
