Job Description Electrophysiologist The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) | Gainesville, Florida Position Overview The Cardiac & Vascular Institute (TCAVI) is seeking a full-time Electrophysiologist to join our growing physician-led cardiovascular practice serving Gainesville and the surrounding Central Florida region. This role includes a mix of clinic, hospital, and Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) responsibilities with exposure to both bread-and-butter and complex electrophysiology procedures. Key responsibilities/services include: Diagnosis and treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, both standard and complex Performance of routine and complex catheter ablations Implantation and management of cardiac devices Electrophysiology studies, intracardiac mapping, remote monitoring, and comprehensive inpatient/outpatient EP care Opportunities for watchman implantation and other electrophysiology-related structural heart procedures The incoming physician will work alongside CT surgical support for complex hospital-based cases and collaborate with a dedicated team of APPs, scribes, medical assistants, and administrative staff. Shared call responsibilities across the group provide strong physician support and work-life balance.
