Your Role Includes

• Performing thorough patient assessments, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and creating personalized care blueprints
• Diagnosing and addressing acute challenges, chronic conditions, or episodic illnesses, either in partnership with physicians or independently (depending on your qualifications)
• Instructing patients and their families about health promotion, wellness, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the designated scope of practice

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Indiana
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain within 90 days)
