Position: Service Writer Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Id: 727-0514261 # of Openings: 1 Service Writer for a Commercial Trailer Shop Interstate Utility Trailer, a full-service commercial semi-trailer dealership, has an excellent opportunity for an Inside Sales person for our Cincinnati OH service center. Educate clients about the company’s products, services and offers. Review customer accounts and report changes to internal staff. Manage complaints, returns and resolve customer grievances. Serve as a customer relationship manager. Providing written estimates of equipmentdamages and replacement parts requirements to affect repairs to damaged commercial trailers and associated equipment. Communicating with customers on repair progress. Reviewing and closing equipment work orders. Reviewing and prioritizing equipment repair write-ups. Qualifications Must have a valid driver’s license. Strong computer skills. Good written and oral communication skills and eagerness to improve. Strong listening skills as they relate to workload, time management, and setting priorities in an unsupervised environment. Effective problem-solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation skills. Strong mechanic background. Mechanical aptitude. Experience in truck and trailer repair is a plus. Experience writing commercial estimates. Self-motivated. Must be able to work independently. Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, stooping/kneeling for extended amounts of time. Reaching with arms and hands. Lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to work independently.
