Step into an integral role supporting students and educators in a dynamic school environment. We are seeking two dedicated professionals to serve as School Psychologists for contract positions at two locations with start and end dates spanning the 2026-2027 academic year. Your expertise will help foster emotional, academic, and behavioral growth for students while collaborating closely with school staff and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut School Psychologist License (required)
- Experience providing psychological evaluations and counseling services within K-12 schools
- Proficiency in interpreting assessments and generating actionable recommendations
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with diverse teams, including educators, administrators, and families
- Adaptability to work onsite in a dynamic, school-based setting
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer comprehensive psychological assessments to students and interpret results
- Develop and implement intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Provide counseling and support to students, individually and in groups, to address academic, social, and emotional concerns
- Help design and participate in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to create positive learning environments
- Maintain detailed documentation, reports, and confidential student records in compliance with school and state guidelines
You’ll be based onsite at either a high school or elementary setting for the duration of the contract, with a standard 35-hour workweek that enables work-life balance.
