Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality physical therapy treatments to residents under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
• Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any concerns to the supervising PT
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care plans
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Oklahoma (or compact eligibility)
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred
• Passion for helping others and working with seniors

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of physical therapy techniques and modalities
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
• Time management and organizational skills
