This well-established county-operated outpatient behavioral health clinic serves the Southern California High Desert region with comprehensive mental health services. The facility provides specialized care for children, youth, adults, and older adults requiring community-based behavioral health treatment. The organization maintains modern systems and protocols to ensure effective psychiatric care delivery within the county mental health system.

The facility is located in Barstow, California.

The psychiatrist will provide comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adults during Monday-Friday day shifts working 32-40 hours per week on-site with no telehealth option. Clinical responsibilities include conducting 90-minute initial evaluations and 60-minute medication management visits for patients with serious mental illness requiring behavioral health services. The clinician will utilize the myAVATAR EMR system for all documentation and work within the county-operated outpatient clinic environment. Credentialing process takes approximately 3-5 weeks for this position.
