Coded Castings Welder

Location: North Anston Trading Estate, Sheffield, S25 4JL Pay Rate: £14-£16 per hour (depending on experience) Contract Type: Temp to Perm Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 06:00 - 14:00 (40 hours per week) About the role Hunters 4 Staff are working with a well-established engineering business looking to add a skilled Coded Castings Welder to their team. This is a hands‑on role for someone who takes pride in quality welding and enjoys working with a variety of materials. There's a clear path to a permanent position for the right person. Key Responsibilities Carry out coded welding to customer specifications Weld a range of materials including nickel‑based, exotic alloys, carbon, stainless, duplex and super‑austenitic steels Use TIG, MMA (stick) and other welding processes to a high standard Read and work from technical drawings and welding procedures Use hand and electrical tools such as grinders, callipers and squares Work safely at all times, following site procedures and PPE requirements Requirements & Qualifications Proven welding experience in Mild Steel and Stainless Steel (weld test required) Strong MMA (stick) welding skills Experience with TIG and other arc welding processes Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Professional welding certification (e.g. ASME IX) FLT licence preferred but not essential What's on offer Competitive hourly rate (£14‑£16 DOE) Weekly pay Day shifts with early finish Temp‑to‑perm opportunity On‑site parking Ongoing support from Hunters 4 Staff This role is easily commutable from Bradford, Leeds, Keighley and Bingley and would suit candidates with experience as a Coded Welder, TIG Welder, MMA Welder or Fabricator Welder .
