Location: Whittier, CA
Pay: Up to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Job Type: Direct Hire

Are you an experienced Accounts Payable professional looking for your next opportunity? We are seeking a detail oriented and motivated Accounts Payable Specialist to join our clients team in the Whittier area.

What You Will Do

• Manage the full cycle Accounts Payable process from invoice receipt through payment

• Enter and process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently

• Review invoices for proper coding, approvals, and supporting documentation

• Perform two way and three way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiving documents

• Review vendor statements and reconcile outstanding balances

• Research and resolve invoice and payment discrepancies

• Process check runs and electronic payments

• Maintain accurate vendor records and payment information

• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances

• Assist with month end AP closing and account reconciliations

• Maintain organized AP files and documentation

• Assist with additional accounting and administrative duties as needed

What We Are Looking For

• Previous Accounts Payable experience required

• Full cycle Accounts Payable experience strongly preferred

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Comfortable working with numbers and high volume transactions

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel

• Sage software experience is a plus

• Strong professional communication skills

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
