Domestic Violence Case Manager

The role is best suited for someone who enjoys building supportive relationships with survivors while helping them achieve long-term housing stability and increased safety. It combines immediate crisis response with ongoing case management, making it both advocacy-focused and service-coordination focused.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide case management services to domestic and sexual violence victims who reside in our permanent housing program
• Work closely with victims and survivors at varying levels in their trauma
• Provide emotional support, crisis intervention and safety planning
• Provide referrals and linkages to supportive services
• Assist with navigating various systems based on individual needs
• Assist with victim and survivor crisis intervention for "walk ins" in conjunction with appropriate staff.
• Complete contract and/or regulatory compliance activities
• Participate in rotating on-call system that requires some nights and weekends
• Promote a work culture of inclusion and belonging

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree preferred; 1 or more years of related experience preferred, a valid NYS driver's license and acceptable driving record; and reliable transportation
