Litigation Associate

Litigation Associate
The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior associates on a wide range of litigation matters, representing clients in state and federal courts as well as alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and analysis on complex legal issues related to ongoing and potential litigation matters.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for submission to courts and opposing counsel.
- Prepare for and attend court appearances, including hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Communicate with clients to provide updates on case developments and advise them on legal strategies and potential outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and ensure that deadlines are met.
- Participate in mediation, arbitration, and settlement negotiations to resolve disputes outside of court.
- Review and analyze documents, including contracts, emails, and other evidence relevant to litigation matters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
- 5-10 years of experience in litigation.
- Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
