SOC Analyst

Our client is seeking a SOC Analyst to join their team. As a SOC Analyst, you will be part of the Security Operations Center supporting cybersecurity and incident response teams.

Job Title: SOC Analyst

Location: REMOTE (East Coast preferred)

Pay Range: $30/hr + $5/hr differential for off hours

Rotating schedule - must be able to work nights and weekends

What's the Job?

• Monitor security alerts and triage incidents to ensure swift response

• Manage incident tickets and case documentation accurately

• Investigate security incidents to determine scope and impact

• Escalate security issues following established procedures

• Utilize endpoint security tools such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender, and Nozomi

What's Needed?

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in security operations or related field

• Knowledge of incident response lifecycle and SOC processes

• Experience with security alert classification and evidence collection

• Familiarity with endpoint security tools and incident management systems

• Understanding of IT/OT environments and collaboration during security incidents (nice-to-have)
