Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 07:30)

Hours/Week: 48

Employment Type: Contract

License/Certs: Valid Louisiana RN license, ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI

Experience: Minimum 2 years ER experience

Schedule: Alternating 3x12s and 4x12s every other week or straight 4x12s

Weekend/Holidays: Weekends required; holiday work required every other holiday

Scrub Color: Navy

What You'll Do

Provide emergency nursing care to a diverse patient population
Triage and assess incoming patients for severity and urgency
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly
Respond to patient needs and emergencies swiftly
Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards

What You Need

Required:

Valid Louisiana RN license
Minimum 2 years of ER nursing experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

Preferred:

Experience with Epic EMR system
Previous work in high-paced ER environments
