Job Summary and Qualifications

The Surgical Tech acts as primary scrub person who handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the endoscopic procedure. Anticipates the needs of the physician performing the procedure and has the necessary knowledge and ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure. Has an understanding of the patients procedures being performed and is constantly vigilant to maintain a sterile field when applicable. Assists in care, preparation and maintenance of sterile and unsterile supplies and equipment.

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CST) Certified Surgical Technologist must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
